how does university actually work
Hey, so im american and applied to oxford and LSE. basically, in the US everyone takes the same classes—English, econ, math, etc—and then extra classes based on what they are majoring in. Someone told me that in the UK that's not the case. Is that true? Like, if I studied French at Oxford I wouldn't JUST learn French, right? HELP.
omfg what. so you guys just stop learning everything when you're 18 and only continue learning what you like??
