Lied about my ethnicity

I’m blasian half japanese and half Tanzanian, and in Year 7 i lied that i was half Vietnamese instead because Japan and anime was (well i believed it was) cringe. Now i want to tell everyone that i’m actually Japanese but everyone thinks i’m Viet instead and i’m not sure what i should do, any advice?
