My parents won’t let me get the COVID-19 vaccine

I’m 16, and I’ll turn 17 in September. My parents won’t let me get the vaccine and I honestly don’t know what to do. For one thing I don’t want to miss out on things my vaccinated friends are doing. Most of them will have it and when I go back to school in September it’s going to get brought up eventually and some people aren’t going to take it well, resulting in me not being able to do fun things with the ones who are super serious about the pandemic. I also just feel like it’s necessary for me to get it because I’ve had COVID before and it was not fun.. I don’t want that experience again and I know that getting it will lessen those chances. I also don’t want to put other in danger by not getting it. I take the pandemic seriously and I wear my mask but it’s just not enough. I’m in a tough situation and I’m not sure if I should just wait it out for another year until I’m 18, or just get it now behind their backs. There’s probably a way for me to convince them but it’s going to be long and exhausting since they don’t believe much of anything that the CDC says. Idk.. Anyone have any advice on what I should do? This has been weighing on me a lot recently and I don’t want to lose friendships or hurt anyone in any way.
