When it comes to unwanted pregnancy, is there a hypocrisy when it comes to descision making?

What I have read in the comments even on this subreddit here a lot is that while of course this is overwhelmingly pro-choice for the womens side, it seems to me that these arguments are almost always flipped when it comes to the mens perspective. Like the same people who argue pro choice become very touch and essentially pro life when it comes to the father.

Like "You should not have done that" "Why did you not use contraception" "It is not your place to opt out of fatherhood" "If you are not financially stable, then be more careful or remain abstinent"

If you use any of these arguments for the womens perspective, it is essentially a pro-life stance. So why is that?

To get it rolling: True gender equality would mean that if the mother has the option to opt out of motherhood, then the father should have the option to opt out of fatherhood along the same lines. Legally speaking as long as the legal abortion window is still open, the father should have the option to opt out. That would be truely fair in my opinion.
