Fathers of reddit, what are some fun secrets you and your children hide from your partner?

My dad would carry my bag for me when he picked me up from school and my mom always scolded him for spoiling me too much. She always said I should learn to carry my own things, be an independent girl and not asked for any guy's help. He said "okay", but still carried my stuff whenever he picked me up. Even when his driver was there, he always got down and carried my things to the car. I never asked for his help though so technically, I wasn't going against my mom's advice. My dad always took my things straight away and carried them. I just let him lol.
