Happy New Year, folks! :)

2024 was a pivotal year for me—just as I’m sure it was for many of you too! Congrats to everyone who nailed their dream NMAT score, SNAP/CAT percentile, MICAT score, etc. And congrats if you put your heart into it but need another shot to reach that dream percentile—keep going!

Anyway, here’s my story: in August 2024, I decided to start a small MBA community to guide MBA aspirants and students—whether it’s exam prep, WATPI, summer placements, or anything else. My plan was (and still is) to use my 7 years of experience in this field to add value.

I had no clue about this subreddit back then. My reddit profile was practically dormant—no posts, didn’t know how karma points worked, nothing! But I began posting in November and created an Instagram page too (follow karlo yaar! xD)

Here’s what the year ended up looking like: I reviewed and edited over 460 FMS SoPs, 118 SPJIMR application essay answers, and 61 ISB PGP-YL essays, all for free. Such an incredible feeling! In going through all of them, I learned so much myself. Thank you to everyone who trusted me.

In December, I kicked off a WATPI program, and I’m still working on it. It’s a total rush figuring out marketing, communication, reels, etc., all on my own. Imagine a 31-year-old scrolling through meme templates to make content for this Instagram page —haha!

And none of this would’ve been possible without this amazing subreddit. There are so many enthusiastic MBA aspirants posting genuine questions here. Some trolls and jokes made me laugh, too. So, thank you to each and every one of you. Let’s all grow exponentially in 2025, and beyond.
