Questions from a Protestant
Hello brothers and sisters in Christ,
Despite not being Catholic, I do have a lot of respect for the Church and honor it despite, of course, have many theological differences with Catholics.
But one thing I cannot wrap my mind around is how sometimes the Pope seems to be in the wrong and borderline anti-Christian in some words he says. For example, the Pope had the Pachamama at the Vatican. I am not catholic and found this extremely disrespectful, especially when they (the pachamama worshippers) bowed to her. I also found it extremely inappropriate for the Pope to state “All religions are paths to God. I will use an analogy, they are like different languages that express the divine.”... thats extremely against the teachings of Christ (John 14:6).
These are just a few big examples that I could find that bother me. What do yall think as catholics?
