How do catholics explain the fact that marian apparitions have ceased in our present time, now that we have HD cameras and don't rely on mere testimony?

Apparently there's an apparition that occured in Egypt in 2009 that was filmed, Our Lady of Warraq, but the video just looks like a hoax honestly. Even UFO's seem more credible nowadays. I'm not attacking faith btw, just want to know a religious point of view :)
