Is the charging station of the gamesir cyclone 2 worth it?

I'm thinking of buying the cyclone 2 but idk if i want to get it with or without the charging station. Is the charging station of the gamesir cyclone 2 worth the increased price? never had a controller with a charging station so idk if they're actually of any use. I don't care about displaying it or anything like it. Just plain usefulness compared to just using a cable.
