LöfLife Weekly waivers GW13

Hey!

Back for more waiver action! You can follow me on X at u/peter_lof for daily updates on FPL Draft.

Don’t miss tonight’s deadline!

We’re working with very little information after the European matches and no press conferences, so be prepared to adjust your team tomorrow if needed.

Goalkeepers

Fraser Forster (TOT) - Fulham
If you need to swap a goalkeeper, there’s a free Spurs option available. With Vicario out long-term, Forster steps in. While Spurs’ defense isn’t the most reliable, they are actually tied for the fewest goals conceded.

Defenders

Pervis Estupiñán (BRI) - Southampton
I picked him up late last week and forgot to include him in the thread.
Brighton conceded a late goal last week anyway.
While Southampton managed two goals against Liverpool, they didn’t show much else. A great clean sheet (CS) chance combined with Estupiñán’s attacking threat.

Riccardo Calafiori (ARS) - West Ham
Looking through the leagues, I noticed Calafiori isn’t picked everywhere. Back from injury and started last week. With White out long-term, he’s almost guaranteed a spot in the lineup.

Nikola Milenković (NFO) - Ipswich
Forest have been taken back to earth after briefly sitting third three weeks ago. Against Ipswich at home, they should bounce back. This should be a comfortable win, and Forest’s defense has been impressive overall.

Ethan Pinnock (BRE) - Leicester
Brentford finally kept a clean sheet last week against Everton. Leicester isn’t the most dangerous opponent, so they could get two in a row. Pinnock and Collins both have decent expected goal involvement (xGI) recently, and I prefer the Brentford center-backs over the rest of their defensive line.

Midfielders

It’s tough to find good midfield options this week. Many of the clear picks from non-top-four teams are already taken. Here are a few under-the-radar picks:

Ismaila Sarr (CRY) - Newcastle
I’ve had my eye on Sarr for a couple of weeks, and he finally delivered returns last weekend against Villa. Palace have been improving lately, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they win this game.

Mikkel Damsgaard (BRE) - Leicester
Brentford have been excellent at home this season, with five wins, one draw, and 18 goals scored. The obvious Brentford attackers are probably taken, so consider Damsgaard—a solid second-tier attacking option.

Ryan Yates (NFO) - Ipswich
Yates is the Damsgaard equivalent for Nottingham. Target Ipswich’s leaky defense here. His stats show he’s underperforming his xGI, so his current tally of one goal and one assist should be higher. A sneaky pick this week.

Amad Diallo (MUN) - Everton
I’d prefer to see United’s lineup tonight, but Diallo started last week against Ipswich and was one of their better players, actually looking to make things happen. A good pickup if United find form under Amorim.

Strikers

The striker pool is very limited. In most of my leagues (9-man), there aren’t many great options available.

Callum Wilson (NEW) - Crystal Palace
Wilson is the one to keep an eye on if he can get a place in the starting eleven if near time. Isak not being the most reliable injury wise makes that not so unlikely.
Can be picked up as your third striker. His ceiling is very high if he gets the chance.

Good luck!
