How to capture the Yowin Carbuncle?

Really want to change mounts to the Carbuncle in the cat cafe room under the inn in Yowyn, but I’m not really sure how this would work. I know with Monster balls you need to get them to low health and have high enough level ball. Based on the wiki they are 22 - what’s a good source for a ball this high? If you attack this Carbuncle, does it aggro the room? Should I get the talk to animal perk and try a charisma check + affinity recruit instead? Assuming that’s possible, it may not be.
