What next after reaching the depths and arctic rod?

So I unlocked the depths, got the exotic there, have steady arctic rod, and 200k, jetski., I looked through the rods, not sure what to buy next. Kings doesn't seem like a huge upgrade, just the unlimited weight but much slower lure speed. I'm thinking the goal is depths rod, but maybe go for the trident in the meantime to make money faster (3x mutation chance), since it's a long way to 950k, plus all those rune appraisals.

The trident's got good luck but 0 resilience 0 control is concernting since some fish are so hard to catch.
