Is it worth the money?

On October 2023 I bought my first gaming laptop. It's the HP omen 16 worth 1.3₹ L (1600$).

It was working flawlessly until March 8 when it just suddenly failed to power on (pressing power button does nothing). Since it was under warranty I did the logical thing. Went to HP authorised service center and gave the laptop there. Here they said omen laptops usually don't get faults in the mother board and that it'll take around 30 days to get parts and finish it properly.

I didn't fuss about it with them but that is a long time. They weren't sure about why it failed to boot, until today where they said its because of the motherboard and that they've decided to change the motherboard completely. Now it'll take another 25 days to get the parts to fix the board. So all in all a total of 40 days or more to resolve this issue.

Now I'm a bit worried if this problem will come again in the near future since it's only been 6 months since I bought it and I don't have an extended warranty on it either.

My previous laptop was HP, had it for a decade, recently sold it for a good price too. Now I'm not sure if HP has the same value. I chose omen over acer.

Should I file a consumer complaint and hope for the best? I'm not sure what to do either. Extended Warranty for 2 years is almost 18k here in chennai, India.

Would like to hear your opinions and suggestions or solutions if any. Thank you.
