2018 Honda Odyssey Won’t Go Into Gear

For the second time in about a month my wife had issues with her 2018 Odyssey not going into gear (both cases into reverse). After the first time I came home a couple hours later but couldn’t replicate the issue. I did check the battery cables and they were tight with no corrosion. I told her next time it does it, record it with her phone.

Well it just happened again and attached is a video showing all of the error messages. When she pushed the reverse button, it didn’t “light up” and the “Park” button stayed lit. By the time I got to the van 20 mins later I couldn’t replicate the issue.

Any ideas? I’m trying to troubleshoot as much as I can because we live in a very rural area and the closest Honda dealer is 1.5 hours away and the closest independent repair shop is 40 mins away. A couple months ago we had the timing belt replaced. I’m wondering if some connector/wire got damaged in the repair.
