Mining for money without maxed powder instead of farming

I farm a lot but it’s starting to get pretty bad for some of the more expensive items so I’m trying to get into mining for money but that takes a lot of prep which I don’t mind I’ll actually powder grind at hotm 7 but I’d like to switch now to mining even if it makes slightly less money but what method would be best for some decent money just to avoid farming for a bit.
