Estate yellow diamond ring

My husband purchased a yellow diamond ring for my valentines gift. He didn’t know much about it, but did have the diamonds checked before purchasing. It’s definitely an older style and has a script like marking on one side of the inner band and then I’m assuming a mental type stamp on the other side. If anyone could give me any kind of insight about it or point me in a direction to research, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
