Do I need to purchase CAS right now?

Hey everyone! First time posting here!

I'm an international first-year university student studying in Australia right now, and I would like to apply to US law schools in two years' time.

I've set up my ISAC account, but just wondering if I need to purchase the CAS asap? or can i wait for like one or two more years until I actually need to hand in my application?
