Honeymooning

Hello! My fiance and I are eloping to big island as (that is where we got engaged) it’s very special place for us. We will be honeymooning to Maui after our elopement! We fly into Maui from Big island on September 10th-16th.

I am looking for areas to stay, resorts, places to eat (lunch, dinner) and suggestions on excursions, (huge plus if you have honeymooned here before or just travel for pleasure!) We are thinking of staying in Wailea, but open to suggestions, pros & cons etc.

We want to do road of Hana excursion, horse back riding and possible snorkeling, and a nice dinner somewhere to celebrate our marriage.
