Massive Family Vacation: Terrible Idea?

So my husband’s family wants to do a beach vacation in a few months. Two families of 3 (each family is two 20-30 yos and a baby, I’m in this group) a single 20-something, two couples in their 60s, and a woman in her 80s and fragile physical health (not sick, but can’t really do stairs).

The vacation would be in a 3 bedroom condo on the beach. One king bed, one room with 2 doubles, one room with 2 queens. Current proposal is the single cousin and older woman in the king bed room, my husband/baby/me in a room with one of the older couples, and the other family and couple in the other room.

I’m leaning towards not going for the following reasons: * The man we’re rooming with told me when I was postpartum that my face started looking “less fat”. Don’t exactly want to be in a bathing suit around that. * He also gossiped that a relative of his has to take “heavy duty medication like Zoloft”… not knowing that I took it when pregnant and for years before that. Don’t feel comfortable in a space where I can’t easily step away from shit like that. * The woman regularly makes snide comments about my parenting. Just little things like fussing when I give the baby a pacifier because “she wants to see her smile” and insisting that the baby’s always hungry even when we just fed her, but it’s grating after a while. * This is the weekend of a milestone anniversary for my husband and me. * I asked the person planning the trip about a 4 bedroom option and was told “I think we can all just tough it out for a couple of nights”. I am the only one who would be getting up with my child each night (husband has legit, actual medical reason he can’t), so easy for him to say. It’s not a cost issue, they won’t accept us putting money towards a bigger option and don’t want us in a hotel because it’s less time with family.

My husband wants to go, as the family were seeing are wonderful and live very far away. Many of them haven’t met our daughter yet either.

But this sounds like hell to me lol…

Idk, what would you all do?
