Dark mha part 2

Title: Falling from the Sky Chapter 4: Burnt Vines

The city hadn’t recovered from Mount Lady’s death. Her absence felt like a hole in the skyline, an empty space that no hero could fill. But grief had no time to settle because Dabi was still out there—burning, hunting, leaving nothing but ash in his wake.

Minoru Mineta never imagined he’d be on the front lines of anything serious. He was a sidekick at best, a joke at worst. But after Mount Lady’s fall, every Pro Hero was on high alert, even the ones who never expected to be.

When the distress call came from the Shizuoka district—another string of mysterious fires—Mineta was sent with a small team. His heart pounded the whole ride there, dread coiling tighter with each passing second. He tried to play it cool, cracking jokes no one laughed at. Deep down, he knew something was wrong.

And then they arrived.

The street was eerily quiet, buildings scorched black, air thick with the acrid stench of smoke. Bodies—civilians and heroes alike—were scattered like broken toys. And standing amidst the wreckage was him.

Dabi.

His coat fluttered slightly in the hot breeze, embers dancing around him like fireflies. When he turned to face them, Mineta felt the chill of death under the blazing heat.

“Another batch of heroes to roast,” Dabi muttered, sounding almost disappointed. His eyes locked onto Mineta like he wasn’t even worth the effort.

The others attacked first—Pro Heroes with more experience, stronger Quirks. But Dabi was a ghost wrapped in flame. His blue fire consumed everything, burning faster, hotter, more vicious than anything Mineta had ever seen.

Within minutes, Mineta was the only one left standing.

“Look at you,” Dabi said, stepping over the charred remains of Mineta’s teammates. “They sent you to stop me? This city’s more desperate than I thought.”

Mineta’s hands trembled as he launched his Pop Off balls, sticky orbs flying in desperation rather than strategy. They sizzled and evaporated before reaching Dabi, the heat too intense.

Dabi walked closer, casual, like a man strolling through a park.

Mineta backed away until his heel hit the edge of a collapsed wall. There was nowhere to run.

“Heroes like you are the problem,” Dabi continued, his voice soft and venomous. “Weak. Useless. Just here for the fame.”

Mineta tried to speak, to defend himself, but fear choked the words in his throat.

Dabi raised his hand, palm glowing with that unnatural blue.

“Don’t worry. It’ll be quick.”

The flames erupted, faster than Mineta could blink. The heat stole the scream from his lungs before it could escape.

Chapter 5: Ashes of Heroes

When the recovery teams arrived hours later, there was nothing left of Mineta. No body, no remains—just scorched earth and the faint smell of burnt plastic from his melted hero gear.

Another Pro Hero gone.

Another message from Dabi.

The League of Villains wasn’t just fighting heroes anymore. They were erasing them.
