Gel Allergy?

Hi all! I’m a relatively new nail tech (started about 7 months ago). I don’t seem to get any kind of allergic reaction to gel on my skin or nails but when i use my EFile to remove gel polish my face gets bright red and hot to the touch. i did message my doctor about it so I’m not looking for medical advice, just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? Should i stop doing gel removals all together? That would be super inconvenient!
