Is it worth doing memberships as soon as they're available?

Hey everyone, like the title asks. Is it worth doing memberships as soon as they're available? I have 769 subscribers and am just about to hit 3,000 watch hours, it should update to that number by tomorrow morning. Has anyone had success launching them right away or found that it hurt the channel in any way? I would greatly appreciate the insight.
