Why hasn't anyone invented a cooling blanket? (The opposite of a heated blanket!)

We have heating blankets you plug into the wall. But there's no cooling blanket. Does the technology not exist? I want a blanket that actually gets cold, without having to use an iced water bottle that can explode and ruin the bed or couch and only cools a 1x1 foot area anyway. I want a giant cooling blanket so I can feel like I'm in a deep freeze. Background: I'm a hot sleeper.

Edit: I have Google'd it many times and the "cooling blankets" are a scam. They all say "breathable fabric". So there's nothing in them that actually drop the temperature of the blanket itself. My complaint about these shady advertised blankets is they don't cooling you off any more than sleeping without any covers.
