Rajputs of Haryana

Haryana is home to many Rajput clans, including the Chauhan, Parmar, Taoni, Madhad/Mandahar, Tanwar, Pundir, Badgujar(Raghav),etc. Many of these clans were centered around specific locations and controlled numerous villages; for instance, the Madhad Rajputs dominated a cluster of 360 villages with their center at Kalayat in Kaithal. Rajputs in Haryana have also made significant contributions to the army, with many Rajput villages known for producing distinguished soldiers.
