Citra on SteamDeck

Just received my SteamDeck yesterday and installed citra via emudeck but I’m having an issue that only occurs sometimes. When I launch a game using citra it’ll sometimes open the citra menu on top of the launched game but other times citra will launch right into the game with no issues. Just wondering if anyone knows what causes that and what workarounds there might be.
