This electric driver is a must have for anyone who is constantly breaking XMAXX parts like me…
It seems like almost every time I take out the beast I break something on the front or rear bumper, even after upgrading to the RPM supports. Maybe because I’m new to it and haven’t learned to land it properly yet, but yeah I give it some beatings.
So it was very frustrating taking apart all the bumper assemblies via Hand power. I picked up this Dewalt Gyroscopic driver that has a quarter inch chuck. So you can pop in a MIP ball head (or similar cheaper/lower quality ball head) when you’re ready to rip.
I don’t work for Dewalt or anything, but I would really recommend this to anyone who is constantly having to do work on their XMAXX or similar vehicle. That is, of course, unless you are the type who enjoys the timesink that is hand driving everything.
If you aren’t familiar with how a gyroscopic driver works, just do a Google search to see a video on this thing. Basically it only has one button and once you press the button, you can either twist your wrist to the right or the left, and that will designate if it drives forward or in reverse. Also the amount of rotation that you make dictates the speed/torque. So if you want to go very slow to tighten something, you would just press the button and ever so slightly twist your wrist to the right for it too do a crawling clockwise motion. And if you want to rip something in with reckless abandon, twist your wrist as far as you can, and it will fucking rocket forward. Just hold on tight cause it’s powerful.
