The best, nonobvious thing I’ve done for my mental health and personal development. What's yours?

I started playing story-driven games on someone’s recommendation here in this sub. It was a way to quit social media while filling the void with something more wholesome but also satisfying. I didn’t want to get addicted again, though, so shorter or episodic narrative games fit the bill for me. I had a rich imagination once and it feels so nice to get in tune with it again (it’s there, fierce and alive! I just hadn’t used it much.).

I’m curious to know: What are some ways you’ve found to feel connected to yourself, be mindful/present or develop personally, mentally, spiritually?
