Having a kid 40+ isn’t the best solution

I see an uptick in ppl planning to have kids 35+, while it’s your life and your choice - and you should never feel pressured to have kids when you don’t want to, having older parents is torturous. Since I was 7 and conscious of their age and the different between their age and my friends, I literally cried almost every night. I want as much time as I can with them, age doesn’t always determine the longevity of life, but it’s a huge factor.

This experience has taught me that if I’m 35 and do not have a child yet, my only decision will be to adopt/foster an older child (8-16yrs old)

I don’t see many ppl vent abt this,
