Can I Dash in Other Areas

This might be a stupid question, but can you dash anywhere? Or do you have to be registered in specific areas? The reason I ask is because I’m taking an extended vacation next week to a heavily populated area and I’m wondering if I’ll be able to work (Dash) while I’m there. Thanks!
