Why Ebraheem announcing Danya’s pregnancy in such a betrayal

I’m someone that pregnant rn and just reached my second trimester. I’m also Muslim. In our culture and religion, we don’t do gender reveals or any of that, instead what we usually do is gather our friends and family together to tell them the news. It can be absolutely nerve racking, especially in the first trimester when miscarriage levels are much higher. Generally, only the immediate family know first, and maybe sometimes best friends. Everyone else is told in a big gathering and ppl that already know, know to keep their mouth shut.

1: When they were at the barbershop, when Ebraheem made hints about the baby I was floored. Like what are you doing? And then when he went to insinuate that Danya had told him before her husband bc he was somehow more special, I wanted bliss to knock him down right there. He’s very obviously jealous of their marriage and thinks that he has a right over Danya. Even though to Danya, Ebrahim is her ‘bestie’, she didn’t seem to trust him enough to tell him before everyone else about the pregnancy, especially not before her husband, so Ebrahim took his crazy coincidental guess of her being pregnant and rubbed it into blisses face like a trophy. He also stated that he could go wherever he wanted meaning impeading on the couple’s privacy.

2: The fact that Danya had to reiterate to him NOT to tell anyone shows just how untrustworthy he is. Even though yes the girls were asking him about her, he should have simply said listen I don’t know, she might have the flu, you can talk to her if you want. It’s not like they put a gun to his head. The way he blurts it out was like “ oooo I know a secret that only I know the impact of me telling it will be huge” then he just acts like nothing happens after.

3: When he tells Bliss that he already told everyone, he doesn’t look the least bit remorseful, the boy is over here LAUGHING like he just told a silly joke and bliss is absolutely devastated.

4: the next morning, ebraheem acted so entitled and like he did nothing wrong, then goes onto start the fight by banging the table and sliding everyone in Bliss’s direction, trying to intimidate and hurt him, Bliss reacts how a normal person would and throws it back at him. E is so shocked that Bliss would fight back and after starts crying wolf about how he can’t believe his ‘brother’ would do this to him. I will admit, seeing him get hurt like that made me cackle bc after all the emotional and psychological pain he caused to ppl the least that could happen was him experiencing the physical pain.

5: after playing the victim, this guy turns up at THEIR party, acting like they should be grateful he’s there and thinks a bouquet of flowers is gonna fix the shit he caused. Literally no one holds ebraheem accountable so he thinks he can get away with doing this shit and can bring flowers to fix the situation. I really commend Bliss for setting boundaries and I REALLY hope that he continues in the next season to flip Ebraheem off and protect his family
