Unpopular opinion Monty deserved better and is an underrated glam rock
Honestly I’ve always liked Monty and was surprised he wasn’t liked more. Chica reminded me of Hellen Henry with those white feathers, Roxy is fine glad to see another wolf but she’s not the first wolf twisted wolf is. Everyone warmed up to glamrock freddy when the game dropped. Monty though was overshadowed by the other glamrocks. While yes I’m a Bonnie fan even my favorite fnaf character William afton can be classified as a Bonnie ( with the whole spring Bonnie/springtrap thing going on. ) but you can’t have the same Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, foxy without adding new animals once in awhile. Monty is a new animal or well reptile and I’m glad to see a new animal. However it’s unfortunate we hardly know him. Yes in vip it’s implied he doesn’t like Bonnie however that’s all we know about him. Like while it hints he did it was never stated if he actually murdered him or not.
I heard somewhere there was issues with his voice actor but I don’t know the full story of it. We don’t know if he acts likes golf, like yes he has a course but that’s it, he hangs around the cat walks etc. while yes it’s implied they want to replace him with Monty but we don’t know how Monty feels about replacing Freddy. We know more about Roxy’s issues, chica’s eating disorder, even Freddy but barely Monty. In ruin Monty is completely feral and when he dies Cassie acts like no big deal and she’s supposed to be the healer who cares about them. Monty was even scraped in hw 2. I seriously hope much like vip that escaping the pizzaPlex does more justice to our alligator 🐊 friend here because Monty deserves more than being overshadowed by the other glamrocks.
