Why don't FM have serious competition?

I got tired of waiting for FM 25 news so I decided to download We are Football. I even updated the database and added players' portraits but I just couldn't play it. FM is leagues above WAF. The gameplay, tactics, and graphics is trash!

Why aren't video game companies interested in creating football coaching simulator games on the same level as FM?
