Looking for Inspiration!
49F 10/1/23 HW 385 (4/2018) SW 319 CW 265 I'm 15 weeks post-op. I've done 30 hours of therapy. I strength train 4 hours per week. I'm doing the work to heal my body and mind. Pre-surgery, I was a homemaker and helped my husband build a successful career. I turned out ONE self-sufficient human into the world and he's 27 now. After years of putting energy into everyone around me, I'm focusing on me. I'll be 50 in 6 months and I feel like I have the entire world in front of me.
Here is my question: Who has reinvented themselves at my age? What did you do? How did it go? I know it isn't too late, but part of me is thinking I need to stop trying to "be someone" and just enjoy the ride.
Thanks everyone! This group has been an incredible resource.
