Fight Back Against Toys Wonderland
Hi there. I am a toy collector from Singapore. I just got fed up with TW and decided to fight back.
Years ago, I placed an order for Koska Reeve like everyone did. There was no PAYPAL then because of their issues with PAYPAL. I had to use my credit card and I have found out that they were not willing to do anything as too much time has passed since.
So after the 2nd batch of Koska Reeve arrived in their inventory and they still were not sending them out, I emailed them and they kept dragging. At one point in time, their customer service told me they would send out in 2 weeks and that BS was fake. So now they stopped responding.
What I did was I went to the Hong Kong Police website to make an online report. A police officer actually called me from Hong Kong in 30 minutes. There were some difficulties with his English but I was able to understand Cantonese so long story short, he told me that such cases should be directed to the Hong Kong Customs. I sent them a general enquiry and this morning they got back to me that they will investigate the situation.
Please bear in mind this situation whereby you fully paid and the items are in stock and Toys Wonderland are not sending them out and refusing to reply to their emails IS the case that the Hong Kong Customs will even consider it a case. So if your order is still on PRE-ORDER, don't bother sending them email.
The email that I got is as below

The Hong Kong Customs group emailed me and told me that they are unable to get Toys Wonderland to do a refund. I am still unsure how they can help me but at least I tried. Chances are they will request that Toys Wonderland send out my order.
As of yesterday, Toys Wonderland came up with another new way to screw me over. They sent me an email telling me that I was mistaken. Those in stock are not the second batch. They told me my pre-order of the second batch is due to be released in December and might run into January 2024. Please bear in mind that Toys Wonderland never told us what 2nd batch means. They can always twist their words and say their 2nd batch does not correspond to the 2nd batch of stock released by Hot Toys. I suppose they might have gotten a call from Hong Kong Customs and are thinking of new ways to keep us from getting our stuff or money back.
I am hoping those who are in the same situation do the same as I do so that the Hong Kong authorities know there is an issue with Toys Wonderland.
UPDATE FROM CAD:
So CAD took some time to investigate the issue but they sent me a final email telling me that when they sent a registered mail to Toys Scammerland's registered address, they did not get a reply. No one from CAD went down to the office or tried to find out where Toys Scammerland moved to. So they told me the case is closed because they could not get Toys Scammerland to respond. What a joke.
