Sore throat from oral Cromolyn

So, I’ve been doing really well for two months on 100mg/4x per day. All of a sudden, my throat is killing me. Not the normal sick sore throat; I feel well. Has this happened to anyone? Any go-tos? Thanks and have a beautiful Sunday!
