Negara yang lagging behind

I recently backpacked throughout Malaysia. As I came back to Brunei, I cant help but feel sad (or angry?) as to why are we so left behind in terms of development. in all areas.

Isn't it frustrating? I still have love for the country but its slowly breaking my heart. Wawasan 2035 is in 10 years yet the leaders of the country have a backwards mindset. Its truly mindblowing even as you cross the border how advanced miri is compared to us. Brunei and miri is still on the same piece of land. still one island of Borneo yet the difference is just wow.
