Car security

My county police force has issued a warning that Ford Fiestas are being targeted in the area and most likely being stripped and sold for parts.

My two youngest have Fiestas and I wanted to know how we can stop or reduce the likelihood of us being targeted. We already use the frequency-blocking car key pouches as all our cars are keyless entry.

Me and the Mrs also have relatively nice cars that might be targeted, but it's mainly where I live to be the target. I'm in a village on a straight road that connects to an A road. So they could back off my drive and be on the A road in under a minute if they drove quick enough. The average response time in my area is 5 to 8 minutes.

I have CCTV on the drive where the cars are parked.

What else should we be doing? and what would you recommend?
