Tear in ribbon cable

Disassembled my ps2 for a cleaning due to a strong smell. While getting ready to out the more mechanical pieces in a ziplock bag with dryer sheets in it I noticed this small rip. Tell me now is the console fucked? This is the cable connected to the lens so will I need to buy a whole new cable or a whole new console?
