Recent negative job application experience on a German medical startup
As I am looking for a job in the area of Quality Assurance, I have received an invitation through the LinkedIn from one person from the recruitment agencies, that works with the German companies. Initially I thought the process would end until the end of the year but unfortunately the whole process lasted almost 3 months with chasing a Recruiter for a week after the last interview. Red flags: - The interviews were not structured properly and I had calls with CEO and C-level people before technical interviews - In the middle of the process I have got “the insight” from the recruiter that there is also some other guy who they were considering for the role - The same topics were repeatedly discussed during two technical rounds, while there was no impression these people actually talk to each other - Instead this there could be simply fewer rounds with more people - Last interview was with less senior people but not the actual future team and the it seemed they were looking for very specific answers but didn’t try to get the whole impression about the position fit - No formal actual feedback given by textual or spoken form to this day by the Hiring Manager, only a short call from recruiter regarding the no-hire(wasn’t the recruiters fault)
As I understood, initially they were keen on hiring me, but very long process, dragging into New Year and holidays, the lack of proper communication and professionalism from the company, maybe financial uncertainty and simple non-luck were at my odds
