NG+ Hard Mode not hard. Normal seemed harder?

Am I the only one with the opinion that hard mode isn't that difficult? I am steamrolling through these bosses on HM while in normal mode I struggled.

I get it, I have more abilities and more time playing the game getting used to dodge and parry but normal felt way more brutal than hard mode.

About to platinum the game. FF7R was wayyy harder than this one. With all the hype I expected a brutal HM challenge.
