Thermometer question
This is my view of my wood stove from my chair across the room. I obviously can't read the temperature gauge here in between my kettle and skillet. But this is the location the manual recommends placing the gauge. In the middle of the griddle plate. Does anyone make a temperature gauge that would sit vertically somehow where I could read it from this angle? Or any ideas of a small mirror I could put behind it? I know that sounds lazy and I should just get up and look at it, but it would be nice to make sure I'm not overfiring it without having to constantly get up and go check on it. Thanks in advance.
