I take it SS is not as simple as installing it in an AR lower, with appropriately notched hammer, and having any (normally compatible) upper you slap on it work?

Super safety installs in the lower with a regular mill spec trigger. I cut the one that came with the jackal trigger to the same specs as any other mill spec trigger. There is a slip trip in a bracket that needs inserted into the upper. It takes about one minute to open the upper And insert the bracket and slip trip. Anything with the JAKL BCG would work. I’ve only tested it with 556 but I would imagine 300 blackout is the same. I have someone getting a 300 blackout to do some testing.

No modifications to the bolt, JAKL specific slip trip and I just finished a 3d printed rear takedown pin bracket so you don’t have to chop the factory one up.

I’ll have to look, I know it’s popular, so I’ll probably order one to test. This has a bore buddy sled and SS trip in it. I also have their tungsten buffer weight, but what’s odd is how good it is running without the buffer weight.
